Introduction

This is a step-by-step guide for integrating your Custom Directory as an Identity Provider with PackageX Receive to allow users to login to PackageX Receive using your existing authentication mechanism.

Step 1

• Login to https://portal.packagex.io
• Navigate to Settings → SSO & Directory Integration on the PackageX Dashboard: https://portal.packagex.io/settings/sso-&-directory-integration
• Select Custom as the Directory Provider

Step 2

• Copy the Identifier (ENTITY ID) and the REPLY URL (ASSERTION CONSUMER SERVICE URL) from the PackageX Dashboard. You need to set these values in your SAML application created at your Custom Directory Provider

Step 3

• Set “Custom SAML Attribute mapping”
• You need to tell PackageX Receive how you are asserting the Name and Email of the user who uses SAML to login to PackageX
